Clinical Pilates has been developed by physiotherapists as a form of exercise using spring-resisted equipment that teaches the body’s muscles, especially the spinal muscles, to work more effectively. It is beneficial for everyone to help prevent injuries, in particular back, hip, neck and shoulder injuries and is also used for rehabilitation.
